I realized that it was me who was at fault . on one hand , there was no doubt that , to my brother , Tobby was not just a beast , a pet , but a family member , a constant companion , who motivates him to keep going forward . Hardly had I knocked on the door when I heard Toby ‘ s huge bark . opening the door , spotting me , a shocked and complexed appearance welled up on his face . “I just pass by “ , I said lightly , trying to break through the silent and embarrassing moment . Hearing what I had said , shaking one hand with me , patting Toby with the other hand , my brother murmured : It doesn’t matter , we are all a family , not only you , your wife , your granddaughter , but also I and Toby .
