主谓一致是初高中英语的重点语法，它要求谓语动词必须在单复数形式上与主语保持一致。但在实际写作中，学生极易出错。其原因主要有二：一是句子过长，导致写作者遗忘主语的单复数；二是中英文的主语表现形式和语言*惯存在差异，常会带来干扰。

例如：Butter and bread is very delicious. 句中，黄油面包是一套食品，故用单数动词。

今日审阅的一篇网络原创英文中，便同时出现了主谓一致及其他用词方面的错误。我们看看原文吧，你能发现几个问题？

（一）选词错误

令人羡慕的，有专门的形容词admirable；用despite更加简洁；月考，用形容词monthly；既然是月考中有很多科目考试，performance应该用复数形式。

（二）主谓一致问题

这里的it与bring不一致，应该用第三人称单数形式brings；前面已经是performances，所以对应代词应该是they，所以bring还是用原形；这里bring不地道，改用lead to更地道；应该是更大的挑战greater challenges；不是下列的学*，而是将来的学*future studies。

1.They lead to greater challenges in her studies.（原句修改）

2.The teacher and doctor is my friend.

（拓展）指一个人

3.Neither you nor I am good at math.

（拓展）就近原则

4.Either Tom or Mary is in Grade Two.

（拓展）

5.The crew are leaving for the island.(拓展）

全体船员，只有复数形式。

（三）这里缺主语，应该是I hope；成绩是复数形式，用代词these；成绩用score更地道。

I hope these are not her best scores.

根据语境，优化词汇和语法，我最后的修改版本如下

Despite her admirable performances on her initial monthly tests, they lead to greater challenges in her future studies.I hope these are not her best scores.

尽管她在最初的月度测试中表现令人赞叹，却也带来了未来学业中的更大挑战。希望这并非她的最佳水平。
