一、时间状语从句
时间状语从句就是表示时间的状语从句。常见的引导词有：when, while, before, after, since, until, as soon as, the moment, the minute......等等。
1. when引导的时间状语从句
when意为“当……时”，引导时间状语从句时，表示主句的动作和从句的动作同时或先后发生。从句可以用持续性动词，也可以用瞬时性动词。
1. She was only twelve when she won the diving prize in Australia.
她年仅十二岁时就在澳大利亚赢得了跳水奖项。
2. When Linda shouted his name, some people looked at her.
当琳达喊出他的名字时，一些人看向了她。
3. We were having fun in the playground when the bell rang.
铃声响起时，我们正在操场上玩耍。
4. He was working at the table when I went in.
我进去时，他正伏案工作。
5. I was fishing by the river when someone called for help.
我正在河边钓鱼，突然有人呼救。
